BTC Supply from American holders to Asian wallets According to Glassnode data, Bitcoin supply is shifting from US wallets to Asian wallets. US investor bitcoin supply surged in the first half of 2021, slowed in the second half, but remained positive. By 2022, US-based BTC supply has declined due to bear markets, LUNA and 3AC crashes. The year-on-year rate of change is still negative and is now minus 7. Supply has fallen by 7.5% since May 2022.
Bitcoin supply in Asia soared while U.S. investment declined. Asian traders' supply changes were similar to US wallets, but in the opposite direction. Asian supply increased by 6.9% year-on-year. Asian investors are buying coins sold by US holders, suggesting direct transmission. This change in supply is believed to be due to the tightening of US cryptocurrency regulations.
