Another big and important DAO Maker update - Public SHOs.
Now, in addition to merit (main round where you need $DAO tokens to participate) and community (free, lottery-form way) there is also public SHO round. You don't have to hold $DAO tokens, they are open to anyone with more than ~$2,5k worth of any tokens in their EVM wallets. These can be different tokens on different blockchains, staked or simply held. Each wallet is being analyzed and scored using some onchain metrics (some tokens called "partner coins" have increased multiplier). Even tokens of other launchpads will be counted, for example $POLS tokens of Polkastarter and others.
Different SHOs will have different parameters depending on their desired target audience, for example: total assets held, DeFi engagement, DAO Maker ecosystem coins held, social score etc. After registering, the system will grant you a score and show your winning score in real time. There will still be regular merit rounds (with $DAO token), no change there. They are happening along with public rounds meaning you can participate in both.
