Few thoughts about Bitcoin price action.
I feel like TA (technical analysis) on bitcoin became both more difficult and easier at the same time. Let me explain: current situation we have is quite different than what we had during 2017 bullrun. Institutional players came in for real this time, Microstrategy buying non stop since last year, Grayscale silently sucking in all available supply essentially fueling this whole rally, many other big funds and companies buying in, even Tesla bought $1.5 billion worth of BTC recently. This all affects the charts and TA, these guys can invalidate any pattern, leave as many gaps as they want and revert even the weak ugly looking chart up. This is what was happening. From another hand though, predicting major moves became pretty easy, at least if you are in the tune, "in the flow" with the market. There wasn't a single move I didn't see coming this year, thats why I haven't lost a single $ so far. Yesterday spill was pretty visible on btc & eth, even though BTC didn't go as low but ETH got filled. All the dips before that were quite visible and predictable as well, like this one or bullish moves, they were quite obvious too: this one or this pump since the very beginning here. This is not to brag or anything, just to say that BTC was moving extremely clean lately and you didn't really need to watch it whole day. Only 2 things mattered: for dips - look when funding getting ridiculously high and stays there long enough + OI and premiums build up and for bullish continuation just watch news feed and identify fresh untested demand levels. That's all there is to it at the moment. Open / Comment
