Accelerating Decentralization - Staking Phase 3: Delegation Manager

As part of the Elrond Network bootstrapping process we have divided Staking into 4 Phases:

• Phase 1: Launch
• Phase 2: Delegator & Validator Queues
• Phase 3: More Validators & Delegation Manager
• Phase 4: Advanced Staking Features

Pending the imminent Elrond Mainnet upgrade, we are about to enter Phase 3 of staking. This will increase the number of validator nodes to 3200 and will allow staking providers to make use of the Delegation Manager.

The Delegation Manager enables operators to set up staking pools and generate delegation smart contracts for operating them. This is done at the protocol level using audited code. The code behind newly generated delegation system smart contracts is audited as well - only their parameters are different, depending on the staking provider.
