MicroStrategy bought 2501 BTC for $44.6 million
Analyst software provider MicroStrategy purchased an additional 2,501 BTC. This was announced by the founder of the company Michael Saylor.
According to a report to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, between November 1 and December 21, 2022, MicroStrategy purchased approximately 2,395 BTC for $42.8 million at a price of $17,871.
The same document states that on December 22, the company sold approximately 704 BTC for $11.8 million. On December 24, MicroStrategy bought 810 BTC for $13.6 million at an average price of about $16,845.
At the time of writing, the company owns 132,500 BTC worth approximately $4.03 billion at $30,397.
