Problems of existing cross-chain solutions.
The problem of cross-chain interoperability is obvious, so dozens of teams around the world are engaged in solving it. However, the vast majority of solutions are quite seriously limited and have a number of problems. That is why the EYWA team started creating their own solution.
But what are these problems?
The main disadvantage of most cross-chain solutions is that they solve the problem in a particular case, usually limited only to the transfer of assets. Of course, there are exception projects that, like EYWA, also provide the possibility of transferring arbitrary data, but they are an unambiguous minority.
The second block of problems is related to the confirmation of data transmitted between blockchains and the decentralization of this process.
Some projects refuse decentralization at this stage at all and entrust the confirmation of data to centralized oracles.
Most cross-chain solutions use PoA/POS blockchains, which significantly limits the number of nodes due to high collateral, even if there is non-custodial liquidity in the network.
EYWA Relayer Network uses the DPoS mechanism with a lottery of roles, which guarantees equality of all network participants and allows an unlimited number of nodes to work. Thanks to this, the EYWA oracle network is not only more reliable than most solutions on the market, but also completely decentralized.
