Internal testing for go-opera 1.1.2-rc.5 exhibits:

P2P + block processing times significantly reduced, resulting in ~30% improvement
Genesis file processing is up to 3x faster
Searching logs is now 5x faster, and each log search should take only 1/5 of the time it took before.

This in mind, our community raised sensible considerations regarding quorum for vault proposals. Specifically, the matter of a 55% quorum making it unfeasible for most proposals to have a chance at passing.

As always, your feedback is welcome

Of note: validators should be focused on securing the network, not preoccupied with a voting obligation.

We are actively working toward restructuring the governance process, in order to better align incentives with the right participants.
