2023-02-23 17:05:34 Participating projects from #Fantom's first #Gitcoin grants funding round are set to receive distributions imminently.

In total, the community donated around 240,942 FTM to support their favorite projects on Fantom. As the matching funds for this round were 125,000 FTM, the participating projects received a total of around 365,942 FTM!

The team thanks you for the patience as the beta round hurdles were worked through!

Program match allocations and community donations will serve to further promote a rich & diverse ecosystem on the Fantom network

Since the last general update Fantom has seen many exciting initiatives. Check out the latest update covering the past month at Fantom!

The Ecosystem Vault has launched! The vault is a new fund aimed at empowering builders on Fantom by offering a decentralized avenue for funding projects, ideas, and creations through a community-driven decision process.

The #PaintSwap artist summit was held, hosting #FantomNFT artists for a get together as well as tours of local museum exhibits. The event had presentations on NFTs, contract deployment, collection curation, and marketing!

The Fantom Hackathon Q1 2023 opened for registration! $50,000 in prizes are up for grabs for the top-placing projects as judged by a panel of the Fantom team. Register here.

The Fantom Foundation sponsored and attended the 2023 Quantum Miami event! This three-day event was full of talks, including the first public unveiling and breakdown of the Fantom Virtual Machine; these upgrades theoretically will allow Fantom to handle 400 million daily transactions

Axelar & Squid brought cross-chain swaps to the SpookySwap DEX on Fantom! With one click, users can swap from one token to another across chains.
