Why do you need your own blockchain?

The most popular NFT format, built on the Ethereum blockchain, yet has got some issues.

In fact, the NFT token in the ERC721 standard is just a hash of the original digital work. The original is stored in IPFS or on a centralized server. The files, metadata, description and creator data do not belong to the owner. They can simply be deleted.

To solve all these problems, Foil entered into a collaboration with Erachain, a blockchain development company.

Erachain technical solutions in the field of on-chain data storage, user verification and workflow solved several problems of the format at once:

The storage has become independent and decentralized. The hash of the image, not the link, but the file itself is encrypted in the blockchain. Also, the content of NFT can be encrypted, and then the work becomes exclusive. And the provenance will remain publicly available and will also be in the blockchain along with the KYC. Erachine solutions have done the most important thing - made it possible to legally record and transfer rights to NFTs. You can attach a license to the NFT in the description or in a separate document, which will also be inseparable from the file.
