We buy the (PREMIUM ONLY)/JPY's dip from multi-month highs on Thursday after the recent long rally that was supported by (PREMIUM ONLY) took a sudden turn due to a flight into the yen. After such a long-rally, it is expected to see a correction. The sudden spike in the JPY was also triggered after China Evergrande shares dropped 12.5% in Hong Kong, after a deal to sell some of its assets to Hopson Development was cancelled. Heavily indebted China Evergrande was in talks earlier this month to sell part of its services unit to Hopson, its smaller rival. However, Hopson announced late Wednesday that talks fell through to purchase a 50.1% stake in Evergrande Property Services. Evergrande confirmed the termination of the deal in a separate filing. Also Evergrande Property Services fell by 8%. Another reason for slightly more demand for the JPY, are the mixed earnings and rising coronavirus cases in some areas in the world - in particular the UK, Russia and Eastern Europe. Fears of more restrictions also weighed (short-term) on (PREMIUM ONLY), however, (PREMIUM ONLY) fell yesterday while analysts expected a ... (PREMIUM ONLY) ...
