As If it already wasn’t enough for the crypto-market, it suffered another shockwave this Tuesday morning caused by a global Cloudflare outage
The US firm is one of today's major content delivery networks (CDNs) and to say, that the outage had a light effect on them would be a huge understatement. Even a number of the down detectors ironically went down because of the error.
The incident clearly serves as another reminder, that the community needs a healthy web3 alternative for a content delivery service.
The situation seems to be fixed now as the damage of these shenanigans is still being measured. At the moment it is still unclear, but a couple of hours of outage can be quite tangible for traders and exchanges.
