The Spanish Tax Authority will send over 328,000 notifications to digital asset holders who are due to pay taxes for the 2022 financial year.

The amount of tax varies from 19% to 23% on the profits received from the sale of digital assets. Those who do not pay taxes on time face an additional fine of 26%, calculated on the amount of unpaid funds.
