Few understood what happened now.

1. Telegram with an audience of half a billion people launched its competitor to Patreon, OnlyFans (the rules of service @donate prohibit erotica for now but that's about to change) and another similar services. Only in Russia, also known Sponsr and Boosty.

2. Competitors have no chance. Telegram supports any kind of content: text, image galleries, videos, streams, voice chats. Everything is native, convenient and fast. Telegram is not a parasite on YouTube, Instagram and etc. This is an independent social network, where the author can now conveniently attract traffic first to a public channel, collect reposts, virus content and earn a reputation, and then seamlessly transfer subscribers into a paid channel in a couple of clicks.

3. Payment by crypto (Toncoin) will allow you to bypass all financial restrictions with the withdrawal of funds. This was another flaw of all paid sponsorship systems. It was necessary to spend at least a couple of days in order to somehow establish the process of extracting money from them. And in some countries they did not work at all. And the most important disadvantage: all these systems, taking into account their commission and taxes, took from 20 to 50% of the author's earnings. With Toncoin, fees will be negligible.
And most importantly: payments collection through TON is decentralized (everything works through a smart contract), so you don't have to be afraid of all sorts of blocking.

4. Engagement will increase as the subscriber will receive paid content right in the messenger. Unlike competitors with inconvenient sites, ever-falling authorization and other worries from the 2000s.

5. Authors will be able to attract traffic directly in the Telegram advertising system, and there will be no ads in closed channels (due to the rules of the ads platform). Payments for advertising can also be organized in Toncoins (with nuances).
So, as you earned Toncoins you may immediately invest some into advertising. No need to withdraw to fiat, pay giant fees and waste lots of time.
In the wake of the fact that everyone will have Toncoins, they will also start paying for advertising in channels and bots, because it is convenient and easy for legal entities with transfers from bank card to another (random blocking from banks) and there are no problems with sending money from one country to another (again, the risk of blocking).

6. The content of the authors is protected from copying. Telegram has recently released an update that allows you to prohibit any copying in the channel.

7. Within six months, Telegram will turn into a full-fledged Internet of money, wherein most of the interactions are smart contracts. 2022-01-05 03:54:31 Paid subscriptions on private channels via Toncoins

In December 2021 the functionality of paid subscriptions on private Telegram channels via Toncoins was released.

In official TON Repository the stable version of smart-contract of a new wallet and a smart-contract of a subscription is published.

So, the work is finished and we are able to make our paid channels:) The Functional was launched last week. Also you can check the announcement on the official channel.

How does it work?

There is a bot which authors may use to create paid channels in Telegram both in fiat and Toncoin. So to withdraw earned fiat money authors should verify their identity (run KYC) and withdraw to the bank card. Also, countries laws and taxes peculiarities should be taken into account.

In case of Toncoin payments this process becomes fully decentralised. Author generates its own TON Wallet, connects channel to @donate and then gets Toncoins right to his wallet without any KYC.

There is also a combined variant: author is able to receive payments both in TON and fiat.

The way to receive payments relies on authors choice.

Least but not the last! In the beginning of December channel @subscriptions dedicated to paid channels was created.

@subscriptions is actively rising in Telegram ads system and its audience raises rapidly. Right now you can look at the examples of russian-speaking channels which run paid subs.

First authors who launch paid subs via Toncoins and comply with the rules will be highlighted in the post on @subscriptions (free ads, unfortunately only russian-speaking creators can enjoy extra bonuses for now).

Moreover, those authors will be able to receive access to Telegram Ads system to promote their paid channels. Ratio of ads budget is as follows: on every 100€ from subscribers you may receive 200€ on messenger ads system.

Channel owner receives a message with subscribe-button from @donate bot which he can forward to his main (free) channel. After pushing this button user prompts to description of a paid channel, number of paid subscribers and payment button.

After the payment proceeds subscriber gets link to a paid channel. Then, every month, the bot checks if subscriber has renewed the subscription. If he does not, then the bot automatically removes him from the paid channel.

Subscriber does not need to pay specially every month. Everything will work according to the principle of automatic write-off. Just like it works with any subscription in the Internet.

By giving Toncoin a verification label, the CoinMarketCap team confirms the following data at the time of publication:

Circulating supply - 1.22 billion Toncoin;
Market capitalization - $4.88 billion.

Circulating supply is the number of tokens in initialized wallets and out of PoW Givers. Toncoin is currently ranked 203rd in CoinMarketCap. It has a total capitalization of $17.5 billion.

However, the verification process is still underway, and there is suggestions that once verification is complete, Toncoin will enter the global top 50 ranking of cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

What awaits us in the near future:

1. Ability to organize paid subscriptions to Telegram channels with payment in TONcoins. This is the first powerful practical application of Toncoin. This will bite off some of the audience from services like Patreon, Sponsr, Onlyfans and others.

2. Crypto Bot created a Toncoin-based payment system for Telegram bots. And soon a lot of developers will start to implement it. That will also generate demand for Toncoin.

3. TON DNS and TON Proxy will be launched fairly soon. Addresses in TON Internet will be similar to NFT. They will be sold through auctions. The more hype domain (address), the more expensive it will be. In the future they can be resold on the secondary market. For the annual renewal of the rights you will need to pay a small fee.

It will be possible to link an address to a wallet. Sets of letters and numbers which are impossible to remember and check out will no longer be needed.Transactions will be made by the names of these domains.

The problem of all modern NFTs is that they are ultimately useless. They are just pictures. Sometimes with a nice story. TON is not focused only on hype. Its main goal is to make simple solutions for everyone, with real demand. Domains in TON DNS will be the first asset within TON network to generate real demand.

In addition, a small fee will have to be paid for usage of TON Internet. All of this will create not speculative, but real demand for the TON coin.

But transaction fees will not be as huge as in Ethereum. This will allow for fast scaling and audience growth. Dapps and NFTs in TON will develop much faster.

4. Telegram is about to launch reactions to posts and messages in chats. Of course, TON wallets and transactions can be attached to them, too.

5. There will also be listings on well-known exchanges, media coverage, and recognition of Toncoin's status on CoinMarketCap.

There is a huge amount of work going on right now, which, unfortunately, is not visible to ordinary users.
In November, when the rate jumped on the news, people complained that they did not have enough time to buy cheaper. Now you have that opportunity before the next run-up.

The developers are still testing it. The release will be early next year.

TON Internet will work in a browser via http (actually TON has its own protocol, but it is compatible with http). SSL is not needed because encryption is built in.

TON Sites will be accessible through TON Extension for Chrome.

You turn on TON Proxy - you see TON Internet, turn off - you don't.

TON Storage will be compatible with torrents (still in development).

TON Proxy, TON DNS, Ton Storage will be paid with Toncoins.
