Great question from a user!

———————————————

Quick question and I’m sure you’ve answered this many times already. I am a new investor in the Glimpse token.

My question is what significant use case does the Glimpse token have on the platform because I’ve heard you mention that users will be able to buy NFT’s with their credit/debit cards so then what utility or purpose does the Glimpse token serve. What will bring value to the token for investors?

Because if use of the token necessitates a particular function on the platform then it has potential great value but if people can just use cash to operate through the platform then what is the point of the token.

Answer:

Hey! Yes, definitely a common question but that's perfectly fine. One of the things we are actually waiting on is Wyre's integration with BSC for this reason - we want the GLMS token to be the primary method of payment within the applciaiton. Once Wyre supports BSC, users will be able to purchase GLMS using their debit/credit/apple pay.

We also have been approved by Circle, which allows user to direclty purchase the NFT's with their credit/debit card. If we choose to integrate with them and have additional payments, our plan is to offer disocunts on purchase made in GLMS tokens. Additionally, we will use the transaction fee we get from Circle to buy back GLMS tokens - to continue to support the token price even if users choose to use theit debit/credit card. There are also little things we can implement, such as requiring a user to unlock the credit/debit card feature by holding a certain amount of GLMS.

As decentralized social media - our purpose is to bring the end user into the revenue stream as much as possible. This menas rewarding users for their interactions with the platform such as likes, comments, purchases etc. All rewards will be done in the GLMS token and can be used to purchase NFT's on the platform.

I'm not one for focusing too much on the future - because there are steps to any process, and it's more important to me that we reach our initial milestones first. That being said, when thinking about metaverse/VR gatherings on our platform - requiring users to hold a certain amount of GLMS to access these spaces is something we are considering. The goal is to get to a point where each user correlates with ~x number of GLMS taken out of circulation to provide a long term decrease in supply and increase in demand.
