So the guys at Olympus reached out about their upcoming pre-sale platform that is being released under 2 weeks. It quickly became apparent that they share the same ambitions as us to make the BSC space safer.
We have felt for a while that some of the other more popular pre-sale platforms have issues or shortcomings and the Olympus team have clearly done their research and have sought to deliver a more complete product.
So we will be recommending to any projects which we hear about that are in pre-sale stage to opt to host their pre-sale on Olympus' platform.
There seems to be some exciting discussions in terms of how to reward Olympus holders in relation to the hosted pre-sales.
What caught our eye most was the mention of potentially having a section on their platform for KYC'd pre-sales which adds another layer of safety.
Overall, think the team seem really solid and the project already has a very strong reputation in this space to build this platform off of.
Definitely a project to research and consider as a long term hold as they continue to add new utilities and grow their existing ones such as their LP lock feature.
Bear case? The platform despite being backed by a huge project fails to draw a significant amount of custom away from established platforms like DXsale. We have seen this with BSC and the different chains trying to dethrone it. It is always tricky to truly challenge the status quo as people are creatures of habit.
