11 years ago Bitcoin traded at $1. Now Wells Fargo analysts express an opinion that cryptocurrencies appear to be near a hyper adoption phase similar to what happened with the Internet in the late 90s.

According to a survey, 13% of Americans have bought digital assets in the last 12 months and 3% of people in the world use them (the graph is above).

According to JPMorgan, Bitcoin price could reach $150K at some point in the future. However, the report also mentions that Bitcoin’s ‘fair value’ is around $38K and the estimate is based on how volatile it is compared to gold.

According to Arcane research, many coins reached a drawdown of up to 80% compared to all-time highs in 2021. Let’s take a look at some facts and try to interpret them.

#Bitcoin went down just 52% and there reason we said ‘just’ is because the last time it happened in 2017 it went down 80% from its ATH. $BTC price was JUST around $20K. Interesting how many people consider the current BTC price of $35K as too low. Even though it is 75% higher than the ATH in 2017 which was considered an enormously oversold!

Let’s look at the long-term perspective. According to Big Ideas Summit 2022 report from Katie Wood’s ARK Invest, Bitcoin could top $1 million and Ethereum price could reach $168,000 in 2030 with Bitcoin and Etherium market cap could hit $42T. It does sound quite ambitious since the current crypto market cap is JUST $1.72T.
