This weekly’s altcoin update is relatively short, considering there is not a lot of news to capture on.

Zilliqa
Zilliqa just had its yearly event, and overall it gave us a good impression of what the community can expect in the upcoming quarters. We have written a ZIL-4 recap on our Telegram and Twitter, which goes in-depth on what you can expect of Zilliqa and its partners. Besides that, it gives you a good impression of the growth of the Zilliqa ecosystem.

Reserve Right
Reserve Right is currently popping off in asset value, and In our opinion that is more as justified. The roadmap of Q3 and Q4 just got released, and it looks exceptionally good with a few major releases coming up. The imminent mainnet release is by far one of the most promising developments considering it introduces arbitrage for RSR holders, as highlighted in our Reserve Protocol paper. The team is experimenting with a Payroll feature in the Reserve app, allowing merchants to pay their employees within the app.

The project is aiming for even more growth, by sending more invites for the Reserve App, automating the onboarding process, further expansion of businesses who accept reserve across their target countries (Colombia, Panama, Argentina, and Venezuela), and a big scale marketing strategy that focusses on spreading awareness about Reserve through social media, and other meaningful platforms.

The team is actively working on enhancing the Reserve infrastructure to ensure the new influx of users can be handled with ease, without any technical difficulties for the user. On top of that, the team is improving the flexibility of the Protocol by revamping parts.

The Zilliqa ecosystem is setting up a 10+ million USD creator fund for investment into individuals who are at the very core of the creator economy. The initiative is part of a broader growth strategy for NFTs and the Metaverse on Zilliqa. As stated above, I think that the Metaverse is a great concept but not possible in short term. The fund itself is an excellent initiative to attract more creators to the Zilliqa creator economy, especially considering it aligns with the NFT focus of Zilliqa.

ZilHive showcased 5 incubator projects on the Zilliqa ecosystem, which were one of the most interesting parts of the event. The following projects had a presentation:

- Cerchia – A non-gaming prediction market to hedge against environmental, societal, and other events where insurance generally doesn’t exist.
- Access – A project that wants to tokenize ticketing, in a similar way GET Protocol is doing at the moment.
- Lossless – A no-loss prize protocol for the Zilliqa ecosystem, with passive yield generation by leveraging DeFi integrations.
- InvoPay – An Invoice financing platform that speeds up cash flow by reducing payment terms from 90 days to 1 day. Investors earn at least 11% APY on stable coins.
- HeyAlfie – A freemium smart dashboard allowing users to manage, invest and borrow digital assets.

XCAD Network is as we stated before in our weekly updates, one of the most promising projects on the Zilliqa ecosystem. The Network essentially empowers crypto mass adoption by accessibility, removing the complexity threshold for their users by easy UI and intuitive product design. To put this in perspective, their XCAD-plugin allows, without any needed blockchain experience, their audience to earn content creator tokens by simply watching their favorite tokenized content creators.

Therefore, the XCAD Network is focusing on accessibility and keeping its product intuitive and simple for the end-user. The XCAD DEX is the first cornerstone of the product, and there is more to come.

The UFF Sports project is rapidly growing, by leveraging DeFi solutions to penetrate the Sports industry, powered by Zilliqa’s expertise and tools. The project is planning to launch Sports DeFi, which includes Sport tokens like the Athlete Coin of AO Sports and more. The ecosystem is actively partnering up with partners to create value, such as live events, and e-sports leagues. The launch of the Simulated Legends Football league in February, which involves their partners at Maximum Football, is a huge step for UFF Sports. Real players will be involved with the live weekly broadcasts on AOsports.tv, the ecosystem is creating value by adding new integrations with partners.

The network is utilizing their DEX, ZilSwap as the launchpad for community projects to launch on. ZilSwap has grown insanely in the last quarter, with an 85,7% increase in total trading volume, 83,7% increase in average trading volume, and a 123% increase in the total number of transactions. The DEX is the fourth biggest DEX based on transaction counts.

The community is utilizing DeFi options on the Zilliqa ecosystem, by providing staking opportunities and allowing users to provide liquidity. Currently, 48,2% of the total circulating supply is being utilized in DeFi integrations. The ecosystem is rapidly adapting to new projects within their ecosystems, such as UFFS, XCAD, and PORT.
