Emurgo, Cardano's underlying blockchain platform, is ready to deploy USDA's native Stablecoin. The new crypto-asset is scheduled for release in early 2023. USDA is expected to be a regulated stablcoin fully backed by fiat.

The USDA product is a component of the Emurgo Anzens program, which will provide customers with a range of asset-based financial services and products in the Cardano ecosystem.

These programs include cryptocurrency-based card payments, lending and borrowing services, and connections between established marketplaces and decentralized applications (dApps).

With this, users will be allowed to tokenize their USDA dollars. This will be possible through both credit and debit cards or even bank transfers and ADA conversions.

Emurgo Fintech managing director Vinit Bhuvanagiri commented on the Cardano team's decision:

Self-Sovereign Identity, or SSI, is a digital alternative to identity documents such as passports and driver’s licenses. The growing interest in digital identity and data protection in Canada and the EU could help position Shiba Inu as a more modest project compared to other blockchains, the developers say.

SHIB will become a serious blockchain competitor with the launch of Shibarium. The layer 2 network will use BONE, TREAT, SHIB, and LEASH tokens for applications built on the blockchain. The test blockchain for Shibarium has shown significant activity in recent months, with 27 million transactions from approximately 16 million wallets as of July, indicating a high network demand. Crypto exchange Coinbase has kicked off the multi-week Onchain Summer event to celebrate the launch of its much-anticipated Layer 2 network Base. The crypto giant said that each week in the series will bring new activations across Web3, including art, music, culture, and gaming.

Companies, artists, and creators will be running onchain events "that will make crypto more accessible, fun, and useful than ever before," Coinbase said. New mints will happen daily from August 9 through August 31.

The exchange wants users to bridge their ETH to the new network to mint a free NFT - hence, boosting the activity and engagement on Base. The "first-of-its-kind onchain festival" includes "over 50 leading brands, platforms, marketplaces, artists, and creators," Coinbase said.
