2023-05-03 12:59:53 Crypto conglomerate Digital Currency Group (DCG) said Chief Financial Officer Michael Kraines stepped down in April and revealed that it fully repaid a $350 million senior secured term loan during the first quarter.

DCG reported first-quarter revenue of $180 million, up 63% from the fourth quarter as crypto prices soared, though still down from a year earlier. It also reported a $6 million loss last quarter, based on adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda).

2023-05-03 07:30:18 Crypto exchange Binance and stablecoin issuer Circle both provided feedback to the UK government about pending crypto regulation.

Binance said that special attention needed to be paid to consumer protection, market integrity and financial stability.

Circle, meanwhile, said it agreed with the UK government's objectives "to bring cryptoassets into the UK regulatory perimeter and create proportionate and agile rules so that digital asset firms can thrive and provide innovative and cost-reducing financial services to the UK market."
