Amid the panic over USDC 0x8ff...bb66 used KyberSwap to exchange its LP tokens in 3pool curve (a liquidity pool for USDT, USDC and DAI).
As part of the transaction, his tokens worth $2.03 million magically turned into 0.05 USDT
This is because the exchange path was incorrectly set to Uniswap instead of Curve, which led to arbitration by MEV, and in the end only 5 stable cents were received. After that, the MEV bot paid 24eth and bought $2.03M USDC for $1.45
