Gala Music Turns Unreleased David Bowie Song Into NFT Gala Music, a subsidiary of Web3 startup Gala Games, has released a previously unreleased version of David Bowie's Let's Dance as a limited edition NFT compilation.
The project plans to issue 3003 non-fungible tokens, which, in addition to the main composition, will feature works inspired by the famous musician.
The start of sales, timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the release of the song, is scheduled for April 14.
The NFTs will be available for purchase on a pay-what-you-want basis, with initial proceeds from sales going to support the MusiCares charity.
In February, streaming music service Spotify began testing NFT-enabled playlists, and web3 startup Arpeggi Labs announced plans to raise $11 million to develop a free platform for creating and releasing tracks in a non-fungible token format.
