NASA has partnered with Epic Games and Buendea to launch the NASA MarsXR Challenge. This is a challenge dedicated to developers who want to help create experiences in the Martian Metaverse using virtual reality.

The prize pool for the Martian Metaverse Creation Challenge is $70,000. It has been divided into twenty separate awards.
