Bitcoin remains above $22,000. Russia has offered Cuba to create a special settlement center with a banking license based on the digital peso - with the help of such a mechanism it will be possible to protect the financial system of Cuba from external sanctions.
The idea of developing digital payments between Russia and Cuba was discussed back in November last year, when it was proposed to create a new mechanism for mutual settlements in rubles and cryptocurrencies to facilitate cooperation.
