A ransomware group known as REvil has made a demand for $70m in the form of BTC following an attack they have made upon 200+ US firms. They claim to have infected over a million machines, and are asking for the BTC in exchange for a decrypter. The group has already gained well over $10m through past ransoms, meaning that it is not out of the question for them to secure more.
