Lesson 1:

If you are good, your enemies will be desperate to stop you. Meaning they will latch onto whatever they think gives them the edge.

Anticipating this as a strategist gives you the advantage however. It lets you dangle seemingly helpful things in front of them that can bait them into the light.
For instance, Perhaps you force them to inadvertently commit a crime. Or you lead them down a false road with the express purpose of controlling their perception of events or perception of you.

People are very predictable in the way they react in most situations. Particularly if driven by malign interests.
