As has become clear, the updates I did in June, the shapes I thought that could happen, didn’t really come close, so it did become very confusing for a while, especially because the stock market was becoming very shaky and it felt as is crypto wanted to go up but just couldn’t. Then the second half of that period, it seemed as if crypto was holding relatively good compared to the stock market, the end result of those signs has become almost clear now.
My view for the coming 2/3 years, talked about it extensively past year, isn’t positive. For the rest of 2022 there is a chance to see some bullish movement, because in the financial markets the hope has been set on that economic growth (fake growth because of inflation), will slow down, therefore inflation should slow down and because of that Central Banks will stop raising intrest rates and secretly they hope maybe the FED will even lower rates again. As all of you have learned by now, low rates means pumped prices.
But that’s all short term, the world is in a very bad place now, no matter what happens, a dark period will come no matter what, there is no way of fixing it anymore (they should have fixed it 10 years ago, but instead they chose to make the rich even richer and let the rest of the 95% of the people pay the bill.
So, even if we see a small bull market coming 3/12 months, I am pretty sure it’s temporarily. In theory crypto should benefit of all of this, because that’s what all the crypto preachers have been preaching about past years, but I don’t believe that. Also past half year also proved its very unlikely that crypto can cut itself from the drops in a bear market in the stock market.
I hope I am wrong, because in general a bull market is always better than a bear market, but I give it a very small chance. So even if we would reach 40k or 80k, I am pretty sure that within 2 years or so prices will reach 15/30k again, at least.
Of course things can change as they go, we always need to stay objective in the mean time, but for me personally, at this moment, that is my perspective on the market. For the coming 5/10 years, I have no idea and no view. I just hope the world doesn’t explode from all the (created) inflation
