We are happy to summarize our latest developments for the convenience of our community. KIRA Team wanted to make sure that each member is aware of the current updates.

Here is our weekly testnet summary

New branch testnet-4 of the KIRA Manager is now live with latest bugfixes and stability patches. All WHITELISTED validators should join the network by initializing setup on the clean instance. Successful setup should result in the kira tool displaying version v0.4.0.7 and healthy status for all containers in the main menu. In case of issues and/or failures during setup please attempt to reinstall the software first.

2021-05-13 18:01:10 We are happy that announce that KIRA and Clover Finance enter a strategic partnership to enable liquid, non-custodial staking of digital assets issued and available via Clover Finance apps and extensions to be staked on KIRA.

Clover enables users to easily navigate and transact assets between foreign decentralized networks.

By creating a cross-chain asset bridge between KIRA and Clover any digital asset issued on and accessible via the Colover platform will gain the ability to generate yield from staking on KIRA.

Since all assets staked on KIRA remain liquid they can be further utilized on many different chains for the purpose of leverage staking and leveraged yield farming.

Users will be able to transfer stablecoins issued on the fiat native Mint blockchain into KIRA relay chain and stake them there.

KIRA will also support staking of USD and the native MINT token

KIRA will be able to increase security and liquidity of its own network

All tokens staked on KIRA will remain liquid in form of staking derivatives allowing them to benefit from block rewards and access to DeFi at the same time

2021-05-03 15:12:03 We’re happy to announce new partnership with RAMP DEFI

Together we will roll out a Proof of Concept for Leveraged Staking. This is the process by which DeFi users can simultaneously stake assets across multiple chains at the same time, which enables them to juice obtainable yields without exposure to market volatility or otherwise increasing their risk profile.

KIRA will also support the staking of stablecoins issued by RAMP This will benefit KIRA delegators, who will have ability to switch from staking cryptocurrencies to staking stablecoins during periods of high market volatility, all without loosing out on block and fee rewards.

We look forward to working with RAMP DEFI and rolling out Leveraged Staking as we pursue new ways of optimizing yield without need for assets custody and without any risks related to performance of the market
