IMPORTANT OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING THE DEFAMATIONS AND FUD ORGANIZED BY A GROUP OF SPANIARDS
1. ORGANIZED FUD
In the last few weeks we have identified a wave of mass organized fudding, coordinated and managed from a group of Spaniards on Telegram.
Besides the fud, they have been organizing dump and pumps to take down Leafty in a totally planned and premeditated way. Make a profit, create fear and then buy cheap.
It is a group on Telegram of 3,000 users in which apparently, there is a "leader" with an excess of arrogance and cockiness that claims to have had direct contact with the Leafty team, that he knows us in person, and other nonsense. We deny any face-to-face contact with this person.
Funnily enough, the vast majority of people involved in this actions were already banned from Leafty's chat.
The "leader" is @CryptoEstigma.
This situation saddens us as it demonstrates a level of malice that has reached the limit of extortion and outright threats. The user "@CryptoEstigma" messaged one of our team members stating the following:
"Speak or i'll dump the price" And then captious questions, pointless stuff that we have repeated many times in posted messages (who apparently do not know how to read and
do their own research but then mistrust Leafty).
Leafty's reply was "Go ahead, dump it."
Our team is not going to allow any kind of threat, coercion or extortion and much less by someone random from the internet with too many pretensions, a believer, who thinks he has a small army and literally claim: "we are stronger than a team that has access to Leo Messi".
2. ACTION TAKEN REGARDING THE SPANISH COMMUNITY AND MARKET
We know that a huge part of our community comes from Spain, and we believe that the vast majority of you are good people, who support us every day. We value you, we take you seriously and we know you exist. Unfortunately we have to take decisions for Leafty's benefit and for its proper international progress.
From this moment on we are going to stop working with the Spanish community and anything that can relate us with Spanish public.
This includes promotions, collaborations and marketing actions with Spanish speaking people.
Thankfully we know that this small group of Spaniards will not have even the slightest power to move the price when we are listed on the exchange.
Our best defense will be TRUTH and progress as we have been doing so far.
3. US MARKET
We are going to focus solely on the US crypto market, influencers and other specialized media and platforms.
We would like to announce that we are about to unveil Leafty to very important digital media. This will bring us closer to a much larger audience and it will be our first step to approach our new strategy regarding marketing in the US and other powerful cryptocurrency based markets.
4. IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO THE ONES WHO THINK CAN HURT US
We want to deliver a very clear message to the people who think they can hurt our project.
Leafty has no interest in keeping charity fees.
Leafty does not need your money.
Leafty does not need to scam anyone.
Leafty does not need to sell rumors, only truths.
Our plan has always been to follow a scrupulously stipulated strategy to establish a trading tool that will benefit the environment while generating income for the community.
There has been tremendous speculation about our identity, so let's shed some light.
We are a group of unknown millionaires living in Los Angeles.
Our team has enough money to push this project forward no matter what it takes.
We have no limit and your threats will have no effect.
And one last note: we legally warn all the people who are involved in defamatory actions that may damage this project. Justice in the United States does not matter which country is involved and our legal team is working on possible lawsuits that will be issued if necessary.
