The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic are negatively impacting many companies worldwide. Many of these companies have already cut, postponed, or canceled their dividends. They do this to save capital. Within the S&P 500, 12 companies reduced dividend payments on March 30, 2020, or decided not to distribute at all.
