CIX possible 10% pullback

Yet again, our prediction came true, after CIX yesterday tested the projected resistance at 286,000. The important fact here is that daily break and close was above the resistance, implying the continuation of the uptrend in the long run.

But usually, after similar confirmations market tends to have a strong pullback. In our case, the strong support could be forming near the previous area of resistance at 257,000. Therefore, a 10% correction might be the case before the uptrend continuation.

In our last ETH analysis we predicted the pullback before the next wave up. Today the price of Ethereum has reached a resistance near $3100, which goes in line with the downtrend trendline.

The reasonable question is what happens next. Keeping in mind that the price is right at the resistance, we can expect a short-term consolidation phase and even a pullback. However, the trend remains bullish and we might also witness a fast move to the upside.

We are suspecting that bulls will be waiting for a clear daily break and close above the trendline before getting back into the long positions.

After CIX broke above the downtrend trendline, it formed a double bottom near 197,000. At the same time, the trendline acted as the support, and throughout this month, we can witness consistent growth.

Based on the previous price action, the key resistance has been found around 286,000, corresponding to the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level.

We can expect CIX to continue rising towards the Fibonacci resistance, 15% away from the current price. If the bullish outlook is accurate, altcoins will feel very confident during this and next week.
