2021-02-06 05:04:29 We are very excited to announce this week that Metal has submitted an application to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a full national bank charter while seeking FDIC and Federal Reserve membership. If granted this national full bank charter, we would be the first national bank at the federal level to custody cryptocurrency and fiat simultaneously with FDIC insurance on fiat deposits.
