This transaction ranks as the second priciest in the Cryptopunk market history. The record for the highest sale still belongs to Cryptopunk #5,822, another ‘Alien Punk,’ fetching $23.7 million. Sporting a headband, Cryptopunk #3,100 has now been owned by three different collectors.
