Sony Bank Goes Full Web3 With NFT Rewards and Green TokenSony Bank has unveiled plans to launch an NFT-based mobile app and issue a green finance security token on the blockchain. The CONNECT app, set for release this summer on Android, will allow customers to earn digital asset rewards in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) powered by Sony’s private blockchain. In the coming months, the bank will roll out a $1 million U.S. dollar-denominated green security token offering targeted at Japanese investors.
