This week ONT has been trading right in the middle of the 50 and 200 MAs on the 4-hour chart. And over the past one week, it’s up over 16% bouncing off its 10-week support, and breaking back above the 200-day MA. This signals a possible end to the bear run that began in early April.

That, combined with a series of partnerships announced over the last two weeks, we’re bullish on ONT in the medium term, with our entry just above 0.23. However, a drop below the 200-day MA could push it to 5-month lows.

Fake HitBTC Phishing Site Raked In $15 Million In Crypto
A crypto phishing scammer has stolen over $15 million from victims’ wallets by mirroring UI built by crypto exchanges like HitBTC and digital asset service providers, per crypto tracking and compliance company SlowMist.

The scammer operates four wallets that have been identified so far. SlowMist also estimates that the phishing scammer has used these wallets since around June last year, stealing users’ funds in Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Shina Inu (SHIB), and stablecoin USDT.

Binance Withdraws From Canada as Regulatory Pressures Reach Boiling Point
The largest crypto exchange in the world, Binance has announced that it will be withdrawing from Canada due to regulatory pressures becoming too great. Just weeks ago, Canadian financial regulators had introduced a series of guidelines to crypto exchanges, which had limited the amount that people could invest and introduced new registration requirements. Companies who did not implement these new rules into their operations were threatened with enforcement action.

The U.S. Department of Justice’s chief of the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team has announced the agency’s intention to take strict action against crypto exchanges that disregard money laundering regulations.

The report, which was released by the Financial Times, reveals that the scrutiny will not just be for the exchanges, but also the crypto mixers. This is primarily due to the fact that crypto mixers are frequently used by criminals for money laundering with the aim of concealing the trace of funds.

Samsung Agrees to Research Offline CBDC With South Korea
Samsung has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea’s central bank to research an offline central bank digital currency (CBDC).
