Dear community,

We are happy to welcome 2 new members of the Neutrino community node program!

One of the program slots that previously belonged to the Neutrino team goes to our new partner - PepeTeam with their exciting projects. Stay tuned for plenty of interesting activities coming!

The other slot goes to our active community member who helped us to discover that two of the community nodes (3PKGkegKo6MjBYvJonAHDmsRPKeripbgwjE and 3PFU7932LEbR7KgxuZ3GCG8FkaC21N8FJ1p) belonged to one beneficiary. This setup contradicts our decentralization mission, so we decided to exclude one of the two nodes from the program, meaning that it will no longer have the Neutrino leasing.

We are highly excited that the community nodes program continues to develop.

We are pleased to announce our brand new Governance feature!

Now the community members can run their own votings to change the Neutrino protocol parameters, update the existing features or add new ones.

There are two types of voting:

Voting for Ideas - allows users to vote for or against the community ideas or propose their own. This is a preliminary voting that doesn't actually change anything. It is designed for checking if the community approves an idea prior to developing the actual update of the protocol parameters.

Voting for Updates - allows users to vote for or against implementing the actual changes of the protocol parameters or propose their own. This is a very powerful tool, so before letting this bird go free and giving full control over it to the community, we want to make sure that it works correctly. For the next few votings only the Neutrino team will be able to submit updates.
