BTC dominance: what kind of beast?
The market share (dominance) of BTC shows what part of the entire crypto market is occupied by bitcoin. How the growth / fall of the BTC market share is affected is shown in the picture.
• Dominance : Alts lose relative value to BTC.
• Dominance : The value of alts is growing relative to BTC.
Now BTC.D = 46% and the value continues to grow. This means that investors prefer to exit risky altcoins and pour capital into BTC.
