While the number of virtual asset multi-level fraud and financial crimes is increasing day by day, KBS - South Korea's representative public broadcasting channel, visited Uppsala Security's Crypto Incident Response Center (CIRC). The program showcased how virtual assets can be tracked while victims are helped through the CIRC.

CIRC receives reports from individuals, companies and institutions affected by various virtual asset financial crimes such as hacking or fraud and prepares a Virtual Asset Tracking Analysis report including the exchanges where the affected funds flowed into. The report can be used as evidence when the local police or law enforcement agencies investigate the case. Open / Comment

Athul Harilal — Cyber Security Threat Researcher and Reece Soukoroff — Threat Intelligence Research Analyst at Uppsala Security were among the expert speakers during the event. The 4-day conference was attended by around 500 cybersecurity, anti-money laundering or regulatory compliance specialists from various countries across the globe.

The collaboration between AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC) and Uppsala Security was announced during the "Secure gateway to Web3" session, presented by Lim Joo-young - leader of the AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC).

AhnLab Blockchain Company (ABC - https://myabcwallet.io/en/) plans to expand and establish a security alliance to enable transaction safety, compliance monitoring, professional analysis of virtual asset-based financial crimes and cooperation with law enforcement agencies by partnering with the RegTech company Uppsala Security.

Session's main audience:
