BAYC #1626 BURNED
The owner of BAYC #1626 burned their Ape NFT and removed it from circulation as a symbolic gesture to shift its existence to Bitcoin.
The burn was made possible through a new feature called Teleburn, which lets users assign an asset from another network to a Bitcoin Inscription while removing it from circulation, transferring the token between chains. BAYC #1626 was sold in November 2022 for 108 ETH ($432,000) and is worth $169,000 today.
