Following the footsteps of Amazon, Meta, Twitter, and other big tech companies, Google is now at it looking to fire around 10,000 employees.
However, the layoff at Google will be a part of the performance plan company announced earlier this year, and it will be letting go of 10,000 low-performing employees.
It's worth noting that the decision came just after the company received a letter from the hedge fund investor expressing that the cost base of Google is too high and needs to take aggressive action.
