With over 21 million monthly active users, the revised privacy policy agreement published by ConsenSys on November 23 says that Metamask will now begin to collect user IP addresses and Ethereum wallet addresses during on-chain transactions.
ConsenSys explained that the information gathered may be disclosed to affiliates during business deals or to comply with KYC and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
