Silver Lake leds $150 million funding round for NFT platform, Genies.Genies, an NFT platform, raised $150 million in its recent funding round led by Silver Lake. The collected investment will help support their NFT collection as it provides tools to create and sell characters online.
Additionally, Genies raised a $65 million round with investments from Dapper Labs, Polychain, Coinbase Ventures, Hashkey, and others in May 2021. Also, in December 2021, the platform partnered with Universal Music Group, enabling musicians to create digital versions of themselves.
