Based on the reports that were published, Sam Bankman-Fried has been running FTX out of his luxury penthouse in the Bahamas with his 9 roommates, who are, or used to be, paired up in romantic relationships with each other. This includes Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, who centered the stage in the collapse of FTX.
A person familiar with the matter said that "The whole operation was run by a gang of kids in the Bahamas."
Among the 9 roommates are FTX co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Gary Wang, FTX Director Nishad Singh and Caroline Ellison.
