The integration of OpenSea Solana NFT, which has long been rumoured, is now real
OpenSea, the leading market for non-interchangeable tokens (NFT), has released a teaser of the long-known integration of NFT into the Solana blockchain, which is now scheduled for April.
The Teaser OpenSea video, published on Twitter on Tuesday morning Asian time, showed a series of community requests for NFT Solana, accompanied by the caption: "The best secret on web3".
Adding Solana to OpenSea may lead to serious failures in Magic Eden, a trading platform that accounted for more than 90% of all Solana NFT sales over the past week.
The OpenSea step has been expected since January 2022, when technical blogger Jane Manchun Wong tweeted evidence that OpenSea is developing Solana integration and support for the Phantom blockchain wallet.
