New new job listings by Apple suggest the company is accelerating its 3D mixed reality efforts, including a foray into the metaverse.

Apple has listed over 30 new VR and AR positions for engineers. One of these listings is for an engineer who will build the frameworks and tools “to enable connected experiences in a 3D mixed-reality world.”
