It appears as if Apple – the world's largest technology company – seems to have a fundamental misunderstanding on how blockchain technology works.
According to Coinbase, Apple has blocked updates from Coinbase Wallet until they can collect 30% of the gas fees required to send NFTs in-app.
Of course, this is not possible. Even if Coinbase wanted to comply, they couldn't.
