During the panel at The Gateway, RTFKT announced and said that the forthcoming Cryptokicks project would basically be a smart watch in a sneaker.
They will have accelerometers, auto-lacing, and lighting. It will also include haptics and vibration. The shoes will be paired with an app that can control the shoes, allowing users to change features at the press of a button.
RTFKT mentioned that "decades of Nike Tech" has gone into making the Cryptokicks and that it will be the first true Web3 sneaker. Further details will be released on December 5th.
