Coinbase will lay off about 950 people (about 20%) of its workforce, making it the third round of layoffs since last year.
Last year, 1,100 employees were laid off in June and more than 60 jobs were cut in November.
Coinbase also commented that they will be shutting down several projects where there is a lower probability of success.
