NFT RACING GAME TORQUE DRIFT 2 RECEIVES FUNDING THROUGH EPIC MEGAGRANTS
While Valve has a strict policy against blockchain and play-to-earn games on Steam, Epic Games has no qualms about letting them in and its even giving them money. The American video game developer and publisher recently awarded blockchain racing game Torque Drift 2.
Torque Drift 2 is currently in-development by Australian developer Grease Monkey Games, a subsidiary of blockchain company Animoca Brands, and is expected for release sometime in 2024. The game’s Tuning Garage will be opening its doors earlier in the third quarter of 2023, which will allow players to pre-customize their rides using NFT-minted parts that are now available for purchase.
