Tron to add $2 billion to USDD reserves to avoid depeg

Tron DAO project creator Justin Sun announced plans to replenish the USDD stablecoin's reserves. The company is prepping a $2 billion infusion to protect the asset from a wave of shorts.

"I don't think they can last for even 24 hours. Short squeeze is coming," Sun noted on his Twitter page.

The need to inject additional funds arose because of the wave of shorts. TRX has already fallen 18.8%.
