University of Cincinnati adds crypto courses to curriculum
Crypto will be on the curriculum at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio at the start of the new academic year.
According to a press release, the university will launch two new programs to study cryptocurrencies and new financial technologies.
"Our students will learn how to manage cryptocurrencies and how such digital assets impact our economy, positioning UC as the regional leader and among the top universities nationally with this kind of program," said Dean Marianne Lewis.
There will also be a dedicated "public-private" lab space for corporate partnerships with companies like Ledger that have already volunteered to help with the lab's research. he cryptoeconomics lab will also feature its own cryptocurrency mining rig.
